The main idea of this topics is to give knowledge on the use of media in learning and teaching mathematics, and to invite math teachers to discuss the notion of media, media type, function and roles of instructional media, some benefits of instructional media, media selection, as well as some simple examples of media use in learning mathematics.

The use of media in teaching mathematics cannot be separated from teachers ability to empower a highly heterogeneous environment, so it is necessary to empower teacher to manipulate objects or environment that can help them in performing the teaching and learning process.
